BPS PC - Vote for our projects!

Good news!  Two of our funding applications have been accepted for Leith Chooses and Tesco Stronger Starts funding application, we are also keen to support a project submitted by one of our own Broughton parents.

We have three projects needing your help.  Cast your votes on these projects and help us receive these funds.

Anyone over the age of 8 years old, works, lives, studies or volunteers in Leith can vote.  Online voting closes 3 Feb, please vote for:

a) Leith Chooses – 'Welcome' Mural, £3,494, voting opens 18^th Jan 2025

The Parent Council has submitted a funding application to Leith Chooses to update the welcoming mural at the top playground as well as provide more green planters.

  

b) Leith Chooses – Junior Parkrun in Pilrig Park, voting opens 18^th Jan 2025

Led by a Broughton parent, the "Leith Runs Together" group is aiming to start a Junior Parkrun in Pilrig Park. This will fit nicely with the Broughton Primary Edinburgh Marathon Festival (EMF) train and run together sessions for all our #broughtonrunners.  #gobroughton!

 

c) Tesco Stronger Starts  – P1/2s outdoors clothing, £1,500, voting opens mid Jan 2025

The Parent Council submitted this Tesco Grant application for waterproof clothing to support the P1/2s Forest Schools on Fridays.
